Chris Burns grew up north of Atlanta, Georgia, where his father, Charles Burns, specializes in custom and restoration upholstery and continues to work with top designers in the region. This influx of talent and craftsmanship exposed Chris to an assortment of styles throughout his childhood. At 18, Chris moved to New York City to study fashion design at FIT and Parsons School of Design. At 23, he became design director of a high-end women's wear company. After several years in fashion, he realized his passion still belonged to interior design so he returned to his roots. Using the skills he learned in fashion and developing his own aesthetic while working for two of New York's top interior designers, Chris has created an unique identity that his clients find appealing and inviting. His work includes commercial and residential projects in Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Hamptons, New Jersey, Alabama and Georgia. |
